What do you make for dinner the night before Thanksgiving?

Do you prepare something light? Do you have a family tradition? Do you go all out?

We do light fare. Quiche, salad, maybe butternut soup this year. I have also done salmon florentine. My local mom hosts the big meal so im only responsible for some sides and have energy to make dinner on Wednesday.

We used to go to XO Taste over in Willston II. Chrismas Eve, too. It was good. Sorry they closed. Duck! Hong Kong style dishes.

Chicken parm, focaccia bread, and an orange and fennel salad

Haha! Make that $150 Lasagna for 20 if you want to intertwine your reference with a much older one!

If I am making/hosting dinner on Thursday, Wednesday night is restaurant or takeout. If I am hosting my in-laws for the week, that also means I’m picking up the tab for Wednesday. But it’s a small price to pay to keep a small shred of my sanity.
