Enjoy that burrito bowl girl! I recently did that for 2x DQ blizzards for dh and I... So no judgement here lol.

I do this with some regularity. (But always feel guilty about it.)

Why are you feeling guilty?

I don’t get it

I do that like once a week

And that’s just the Chipotle. There’s also the sushi, the Thai…

Are you a Millenial? If your kids are old enough for sports they are old enough for you to leave them home for you to run to chipotle.

Is your job very demanding? Long commute?

For many of us in an older generation, flitting away money away on DoorDash feels extremely stupid and lazy. For that $50 you could have easily made grilled cheese and baby carrots, called it a day, and put some cash in the college fund. Or even driven to chipotle and spent less. And generated a lot less trash.

But I’ve been there too OP! Every once in a while going the stupid, lazy, wasteful route is the gift I want to give myself.

I have actually never ordered Door Dash or Grub Hub. I see nothing wrong with it if you’re super busy and in a pinch. Me, I’m too cheap for delivery. When I’m in a pinch for dinner, it’s usually a grilled cheese or a bowl of cereal.

I've only Door Dashed a few times, when I'm on the road and need to get food to my too-young-to-drive kid at home. I'm always amazed at how much it costs! And while I try to tip generously, it doesn't seem like much of the $$ goes to the driver, relatively speaking.

But takeout is super expensive these days period. I picked up two gyros and two orders of fries from a hole-in-the-wall place (not a fancy neighborhood) and it was $50 with a small pickup tip. That just feels crazy.

Probably because it’s ridiculously expensive price to pay for extreme laziness

And worth every penny some days

One time I was depressed and tired, so I door dashed a piece of cake from Paris Baguette. It was worth it.
