| Where’s a good place to get pies for Thanksgiving where I can still preorder them? My usual spot just sold out! |
| Where are you located |
| Bethesda/Chevy Chase |
| Can anyone rate the pies from Classic Bakery or Tatte? Anywhere else? |
| You can order from Butcher's Alley & pick up if you want traditional pies. If you're ok with tarts & French pastry type desserts then Praline is great. |
| Also French: Toute de Sweet. Not traditional Thanksgiving pies though. |
| Dini's Pies in Rockville or Sunflower Bakery also in Rockville. |
| Traditional pies please! |
| The bakery area at Giant? Just put them in a pie carrier and tell people you made them. |
Henry's Sweet Retreat and Bakery on St. Elmo's in Woodmont Triangle. They are delicious! https://www.henryssweetretreat.com/menu https://www.instagram.com/p/DChNdXHRWo2/ |

| Best pecan pie? |

pumpkin pie is super-easy to make. the store-bought pie crusts are fine and the filling is a breeze to make. there are a million recipes online.
I order pies from various bakeries on Goldbelly, otherwise, but it's admittedly a huge ripoff. |

$40 pies? People, you can do this! They are the ultimate make-ahead dessert.
Store-bought frozen crust, boxed Jiffy pie crust mix, or an oil-based scratch recipe are all very forgiving. Pumpkin pie filling is just opening a can and stirring. Apple pie filling is just slicing and sprinkling. |
