I experienced some mild trauma (comparatively speaking) a month ago. I’m doing better now, but I can’t believe how much I’ve aged in this month. I hardly recognize myself.
My skin is dry and lackluster, my eyes look tired; no matter what I do I can’t brighten them. And I just don’t look myself. I’ve tried tweaking my makeup, no luck. I got some new moisturizer and a super light peel when I was at the dermatologist for an unrelated issue, no change. I got a haircut, nothing new just cleaned up, still nothing. It’s not a good time for Botox or other things like that, unfortunately, nor do I think I need THAT. I don’t know what I need. It all could just be coincidentally related to the change in weather, dryer air, heat on in places, etc. What can u do to brighten up my appearance? |
| Are you hydrating enough? |
I may be hydrating slightly more? |
| Sleep as much as you can. Get some exercise. And drink some green juice. |
| Can you sit on a beach chair with a good book and a strong drink. |
| Are you breastfeeding? |
Tell me more about green juice. Any particular kind? |
I wish! In my dreams, I will
|
I am not. |
lol, drinking water does not heal trauma or the incipient decline of looks that accompanies it. |

You need complete bloodwork to check whether you're not anemic, or not hypothyroid, OP. If it all checks out, try to get quality sleep, eat clean and take a multi-vitamin. At least take vit D, we all lack vit D in the northern hemisphere, unless you're outside for hours every day. |
Nope, just not too sweet. |

Sleep, get sunlight, eat veggies and protein, exercise.
How old are you? Maybe up tofu and other mildly estrogenic foods if you’re in perimenopause. |
|
Sleep, sleep, water, sleep, exercise, fresh air, sleep.
I hope you are mentally in a better place, OP. |
| Try going to bed after dinner every night for a week. Get twelve hours of sleep for several days in a row. It is like a miracle cure. |
