Recommend a few custom home builders (McLean)

We have our own lot and are looking for custom home builders. Who are your favorites?
We like modern/contemporary builds, at 7500-9000 sq. ft.
Budget for design, construction (and tear down) will be in the neighborhood of $2.25M

Brush Arbor

Cherry Hill - used to reasonable but now overpriced
TriCrest - also overpriced, can build similar modern design with other builders
Brush Arbor - luxury builder

Drive around Mclean new big houses and take the names of the builders.

As someone who's recently been through this process, you should be able to find a builder in the $250-300 Sq foot range that does quality work.

Outside of focal point, the builders listed in the two previous posts will overcharge you for a custom build because they can and have the business to do so.

no idea on their build quality, but they were not good neighbors during the construction process. that's all I can say....

Steve Yeonas is Artisan. We built with them. Very happy with the house. We ended up approx $450/sq ft not including the land but so much of your costs will depend on what you want.

Steve Yeonas is Artisan. We built with them. Very happy with the house. We ended up approx $450/sq ft not including the land but so much of your costs will depend on what you want.

And this was several years ago before prices went way up.
