I could only think of two -
Hayden Panettiere - daughter with her father in Ukraine Kelly Rutherford - her two kids are with their father in France and Monaco Any others? |
|
Madonna and Guy Ritchie. Rocco moved to the US.
Joe Jonas and Sophie. Not sure where their kids permanently live but Joe lives in the US and Sophie the UK. |
|
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - had a chateau in France
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban - Australia (where she's from) |
| I think the OP means taken away from them to live in another country, not moved to another county. |
|
Johnny Depp’s kids grew up in France.
I’m sure there are a ton of male celebrities whose kids grew up in different countries from them. Are you just looking for female examples? |
What is OP even getting at? I'm sure the venn overlap of A) Celebrities and B) had children taken away from them because they married a foreign? abusive? spouse? is very small. What are they hunting for? |
| I can't choose my kids' spouses, but I'd caution them against marrying someone from a different country just for the custody battles. |
One of my high school friends married a very wealthy and well-connected guy from the Middle East against all advice. He was in the US for college. They had 2 kids when he informed her that he was remarrying and divorcing her. She had a few days to leave the country and hasn’t seen her kids in a decade. They live with their dad and his succession of women and have been completely turned against their mom. |
Huh? Don’t Nicole and Keith’s kids live with both of them in TN or whatever part of the south they live in? |
But his kids grew up with him and Vanessa, right? The parents were together through their childhood. |
Correct. This thread is a bust. |
They have dual citizenship and have lived in the US since the mid-1990’s. Their daughters were both born and raised in Nashville. |
| Richard Gere just announced he's moving to Spain (where his wife if from). |
And they’re still all together. |
But that's not a situation of one parent taking their child to another country away from the other parent. |
