Wool winter coat that does not wrinkle?

Anonymous
Reading reviews of 100% wool and wool blend coats that are wrinkled.

Where can I find a nice long wool coat? I usually have a black one that I can wear with jeans or evening gowns.

Thank you in advance if you know of any brands or stores. I am not looking to spend more than $200.

? I've never had a coat (wool, cashmere, velour, other) that wrinkled.

Maybe the coat wrinkles in shipping from ordering online. Or the material is too thin.

Any recommendations for a wool coat?

It does sound like inferior wool if it wrinkles.
H & m usually has them, or ll bean…but my best wool/cashmere/camel coats were from estate sales or thrift stores.

$200 or under for wool? Not likely. It's not the 1960s anymore.

A decent wool coat is very likely going to cost more than $200 if new unless at a massive discount at an outlet or being from a previous season.

Look online at Poshmark, RealReal, and find brands like Hobbs London, MaxMara, Talbots.

This. No wonder you’re reading about wrinkly coats if that’s the price point you’re aiming for.

I need a black wool coat as well, but am willing to spend more. Suggestions on brands and where to shop? Saks? Neimans? Bloomies?

I used to shop at Burlington Coat Factory and found nice wool coats for under $100, not more than ten years ago.

I've recently relocated from Florida, where I got rid of my winter coats.

I'm looking for a nice one.

If I can't find a nice one, I won't buy a cheap one. I'll just use something else for everyday for a winter coat.

OP here. Okay, you offered a lot of sarcastic responses, but no suggestions.

I might be willing to pay more than $200 for a quality wool coat.

However, my point in asking, is that most coats I'm seeing are "wool blends," not 100% Italian lambswool.

Perhaps like with Ugg boots and leather jackets, 100% wool coats are no longer in fashion due to hurting lambs or something.

That's why I'm asking.

I don't really want to buy a used wool coat, because I would be concerned about moth holes or odor.

I take good care of my wool clothes, and they usually last a very long time.

Hurting lambs? LMAO - hardly anyone gives a damn about that!

I have never had a wool coat wrinkle. I usually get from Jcrew or Calvin Klein. Not that high end.

Here's an example of what I would NEVER pay for a wool blend coat.

This coat is over $800. It's not even 100% Italian lambswool. Plus for me, I like to have a collar and buttons. I don't want something that looks like a ratty bath robe. That's what this looks like to me. This isn't what I'm looking for.

J Crew and Calvin Klein are both brands that I would most likely trust. I could probably try them on the store. Thank you.
