For Those of You From the Other Thread...

who admit to having sex younger than 17 -

What were the circumstances behind your first sexual experience?

If you were 15 years old and having sex were you a promiscuous teen or were you from a broken home? Do you blame your parents or home-life for your early sexual encounters?

I'm curious as to how many people who began their sexual lives at a young age were abused or had bad parents, as opposed to ones who had great parents, were well off and just wanted to mess around.

Were you labeled as "slutty", but own the fact that you liked the attention the boys gave and willingly had sex with them, or were you forced into relations?

I'm the one who had sex at 15 and married someone 14 years older than me.

I had a normal childhood. My parents broke up when I was 13, but I adjusted better than my brother, I suppose. I did it because I guess I felt a little pressured by the guy to, and afterwards I wish I'd waited because my bf was a moron. I didn't have sex again until I was 18 or 19.

I was 16 and I explained it-- my boyfriend (same age) and I had been together a year and were very "in love". It was the first time for both of us. We were together almost 2 years total. We broke up when his family moved away, and we stayed friends. I was not considered slutty, I did not have a broken home. Though I sure didn't tell my parents! They think my first time was with my next serious boyfriend, in college.

I had sex for the first time at 15 and I am a normal person with no sad family issues. Parents are still married and I didn't end up an epic slut.

Good grief op, you sound oddly judgmental. Why assume that everyone who had sex relatively early "blames" anyone or anything for their experiences? Not everyone feels shameful about sex. Sure, not the wisest decision when you're that age (for all sorts of reasons), but it doesn't make someone "bad" or "slutty."

10 yr old here.
I was assaulted by a teen neighbor. My family is happy, we were mid class I was going to private school.
I didn't choose to have sex at that age and OP sounds "super judgy"...
I think she should "get a life".

ps. she also should learn how to post... what kind of title is that???

Wow, a 10-year-old is posting on here (probably with help of a parent?)?

Sheesh -- ignore last post! Sorry, mis-read/interpreted (late here, and *I* should be resting already!)

I was 15 years old and all my friends at my fancy private school weredoing it - so I did it too.

Hate to break it to you OP, but everyone at my nice private school (in this area) was having sex at that age. I come from a very good family and had a wonderful upbringing, happy childhood, great relationship with my parents, etc. I was almost 16 and my boyfriend (of about a year) was only a year older. We were each others first and we were in love. Not only do you sound incredibly judgemental, you sound really ignorant and out of touch.

Agreed. It's one thing that the women here delight in attacking each other, but now you're going after teenage girls. That is a damn shame.

OP, are you really old? Seriously. Did you go to high school in the 50s?

Not OP, but I am 36 and all of my friends were not having sex at that age. Most weren't even having sex any time through high school. I think it's sad that so many kids are taking that step so early.

Same here. I'm 33 and *some* friends had sex in high school, but later in school, and it was rare.

Well obviously I posted these questions after reading the lawyer thread. Everyone in the lawyer thread jumped to the conclusion that the 15 year old girl who had sex for money with the 35 year old lawyer came from a broken home and had absent parents. My question just begs an answer from grown women who have actually had sex at an early age - were you from a good home or a bad home. Do you see my angle here? I am not passing any judgment, I really don't care either way. I just am curious as to what women who have "been there/done that" feel the reason they had sex so young is. Granted most weren't sleeping with a 35 year old, I still am curious as to the circumstances to which they had sex.
