Washing Bottle Parts

Exclusively pumping mom here with demanding, in-person job. Have any of you ever hired someone to simply come and wash bottle/pump parts a few times per week? If so, any recs?

You can put them in the dishwasher and use the dry setting on high and it will be perfectly sufficient. This might help you save time

People who come to your house and get paid relatively little per hour want at least 4 hours of work in my experience. Can you get a house cleaner?

WTH? Just buy a bottle brush and about 10 glass bottles.

Never use plastic bottles by the way.

i'm not the OP but i don't think this is a crazy ask... as an exclusive pumper i pumped into spectra bottles 8x a day and then would have baby drink out of dr. brown anti colic (she had bad colic and reflux)... and we bought enough of the pump parts so that we could just wash them at end of day but iw as 8 sets of flanges, shields, etc. whenever i complain about how rough that time was my husband immediately jokes how hard it was for him with all the bottles. if we had the money i'm sure he would've loved to outsource that task (and it was way to much to run the dishwasher- would take more than the top rack alone, and our dishwasher is slow to dry so if we did it at night would risk still being wet next am unless we used extra hot dryer setting which i'd be hesitant to do with plastic baby bottles)

Same here. Washing pump and bottle parts is the worst. I think you could try someone on care.com or your neighborhood group looking for an extra hour or two of work in the evenings.

All the time wasted typing that, you could have washed a week's worth of bottles.

We have the Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro and love it. But yeah, if you have the means, pay someone to do it and get back that time for yourself and your baby.

Why not either use the medela steam bags in the microwave or run them through the dw? I exclusively pumped for twins and it would have taken longer to manage someone coming in than just doing this

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy multiples of everything and use the dishwasher every evening? Otherwise you need a housecleaner who is willing to do this in addition to other housework.

But then you couldn't brag about your "bottle washer" servant. Remember how Eddie Murphy, when he played "Akeem", had a specialized servant for every little thing.
