My daughter mostly had fun, but there was drama.
She told me about police looking in buses at the Lincoln Memorial for alcohol (not sure how true this part was). Girls bringing flasks filled with vodka and hard lemonade. Girls getting drunk, parents upstairs. After parties canceled. A house getting trashed. It's a little disconcerting these things still happen. She came home safe at a respectable hour. |
| Tale as old as time. Yawn. |
The police definitely do this at the buses at the monuments. The rest of it is no surprise. |
| Anyone dumb enough to let more than about 4 teens in their house after homecoming is well…dumb. |
| I’m sorry, a bus to take kids to the Lincoln Memorial for homecoming? |
|
Which school district students?
Don't be shy, do tell. |
Any of them. This is nothing new. |
Right? As stupid as the photo shoots with the parents getting in the pics with the kids. It’s not a wedding. |
+1 rich kid problems |

I mean, "a large group of teens were partying, drinking, and trashing the Lincoln Memorial" on Saturday night. I'd use a different word than *drama.*

| Still happening ? I mean this generation of teens are the most homebody, cautious, boring generation we’ve had to date, so the fact that some things are still happening is reassuring that they aren’t too different after all. |
+1 Some of these kids are in 9th grade and spending $$$ limos, photographers, flowers, etc. like it's a wedding. So stupid and such a waste of money. |
It's criminal. It's sad that kids think this if fun and OK. Hope the get punished. |
Yeah I ripped up my ankle falling over barbed wire running from cops after a woods party. It’s not that deep OP |
