| if that is what they wanted or push the dress? |
| Like a snazzy pantsuit, or more of a business suit? If she’s uncomfortable in a dress, there are dressy pant options out there. Is she going with a date or friends? |
| If she wants a suit, she gets a suit. Honestly this is one of the better thing about kids today than my Gen X cohort. |
|
She should wear what she wants. Is she going with a group of friends?
She should be happy and comfortable. She should not be wearing something to satisfy someone else. |
| I don't SEND my HS child in anything. What is wrong with you? |
| I’d let her pick out her outfit. Better than some of the teeny dresses being worn these days that I would have to veto. |

My dd choose to wear a slouchy suit one year - it was really cute - she wore some statement jewelry and big hair.
A friend in her prom group last spring wore a suit and it too looked great. These kids know how to style their looks. Don’t worry, it won’t look like office wear. |
| Of COURSE. And if she feels awkward and regrets it then oh well. |
| Sure why not! |
| Like a men’s suit |
| Why would I require a dress? |
| She won't be the only one, I promise. Just make sure it fits. |

Is she gay/bi?
I admit I would not like my DD wearing a suit. If she had a different sexual orientation, I would accept her. |
This. And she should feel amazing in it. So much better than the short, cheap-looking dresses with breasts hanging out all over the place. |
| Is she overweight? |
