All the 7-11s on Capitol Hill have closed

Good riddance. I’d say I would miss the slurpees, but they were always out of order or melted.

Therefore...?

Come to Arlington. We have 21 7-11s and many of them have better wine selections than Arrowine.

I mean they've been replaced with weed stores so even though I never went to 7-11 I kind of miss them. I'd rather have people drinking slurpees than lining up to buy weed (and then smoke it on the street) all over the Hill.

This is my fear….

It really says something when vagrancy gets so rampant that it's even too much for a 7-11.

I moved to DC in the 90s and experiences a 25 year run of every year being better than the year before locally. Sometimes a little better and sometimes a lot better very quickly. It’s sad that now every year is a little worse than the one before.

Oh I think the 7-11s closing is an improvement!

Where do you buy your Skoal, lottery tickets, Mountain Dew, and Hot dogs?

DC is cracking down on unlicensed weed stores after giving them ample opportunity to get licensed. The shady ones will all be gone soon. The DC government may tolerate a lot of stuff, but it doesn't play if it thinks you're withholding revenue:

That's crazy. I just went to a 7-11 on CH on Sunday. Did it close yesterday?

Used to call these places the local “Stop and Rob.”
