That's right, but I think that while she stays at iHeart (and searches for a new job) she'll continue to make the salary she was making before (minus the extra income she most likely received for endorsements).

it doesn't always work this way. unless her contract specifically says they have to pay her out she wouldn't be. radio contracts usually only pay all the way out for very big personalities, i.e. she isn't big enough.

I would be REALLY surprised if Danni didn't work in some sort of protection for her still getting paid if they decided to fire her or "go in a different direction". We all know Danni better than that...

Again she may not have been able to make demands. You do realize how dispensable she was? The news today should prove that.

Kane had a family of 4 with a stay at home wife and bought a 1.9 million dollar house... Even if as a "sidekick" co-host Danni was making HALF what Kane makes, it's still probably A LOT. My point is that the show makes a lot of money, is in a lot of cities, etc. they are a top morning radio show. It's kinda a big deal, and she is kinda a big deal, and I think when signing her contract, she definitely had leverage to demand a decent amount of requests that are honestly pretty standard. The number of years of the contract alone is a lot and indicative of her power. I honestly think you are underestimating her.

I am honestly beginning to think that Danni would be lost without us! She wouldn't have even given a thought about the inappropriateness of her Facebook page name if someone here didn't bring it up. Maybe she should have posted her contract here for us to approve before she signed it!

Never been a huge Danni fan, however, the way they have handled this situation is so shady and shitty. I can't believe they chose to announce it unofficially via commenting on a listener's Facebook post. Huh!? It's so unprofessional! Who are their PR people because that's who needs to be fired!

My friend just didn't get along with one of the producers. They had a lot of cat fights, jealousy about guys....catty stuff. Well, they let her go and gave her severance pay. She was in the industry a lot longer then Danni was and her pay basically was for three months. Danni is not getting paid as much as you think she would. Most of their money comes from gigs and endorsements. I have radio friends and I was shocked at what they got paid, but their gigs help them a lot.
