Let me count the minutes until Arlington closes as well. Sheesh - I moved to Arlington precisely not to be beholden to things staying closed forever because there’s snow in Western Fairfax. APS used to be so much more courageous.

Of course they are closed. Rule of thumb around here is that schools stay closed for one day more than is reasonable.

We don't hate our kids. It's just that the rest of the work world has decided it's time to go back to work and we just took two weeks off for winter break already. I would LOVE to play with my kids in the snow some more, but I have to be back at work and three days off for this amount of snow, especially when it didn't snow more today, seems like too much.

I was praying for a 2-hour delay. I have an 11:00 in-person meeting in the district tomorrow that I can't miss. I could have taken the morning off, but all day is ridiculous.
