Thoughts?
My impressions: 1. Holy crap! Tori Spelling's face is 😲. Not in a good way. WAY WAY WAY WAY too much plastic surgery. Doesn't even look human anymore. 2. I don't want Anna Delvey, a convicted Russian spy to be promoted and normalized on the show. Yuck to ABC fir casting her. She must go home....or back to home detention. Since when was it OK to promote a threat to national security. She's not like a Martha Stewart who screwed up and paid the price. She's a Russian agent. 3. Emma Slater should not be a brunette. 4. Joey did better than any Bachelor ever on the show. Most have no rhythm. He held his own. |

Tori’s dad did her dirty hope she does well, she won’t win. Anna Delvey Is not a spy she just a grifter and she did less than most Wall Street guys and bankers do daily … and she at least did time. I think it’s hilarious she got guys to think with their d!cks instead of their brains, idiots. |

| Omg...Ilona is so real! And hilarious. Hope she goes far...not winning, but deep into the season. The pros seem to really enjoy her carefree spirit. |

Op here....
I guess I was mixing up Anna Delvey with Anna Chapman and Maria Butina in my mind. Looks like Anna Delvey is just a liar, thief and big time fraud. Nevertheless, it appears the audience was not to fond of her as a "celebrity" contestants. In addition, she was terrible. Pommel horse guy was bursting with energy....so fun! Seems the judges decided to judge on a HUGE curve. The older black man stood still the entire dance while Emma??? danced around him. His scores were way to high. Another guy, the older white guy moved around a lot more, but they scored him lower. The swimsuit model seems like she has an empty head. |

I missed week one but in week two Emma danced around her partner again - and he was not eliminated in the double elimination. Neither was Eric Roberts who also cannot dance. Anna and Tori were eliminated, and when asked what she would take away from the experience, Anna said "nothing." At the time I thought it was extremely rude and disrespectful to her pro partner, but I read some comments online saying that it was dry humor referencing her past. If so, that was a poor decision on her part. Totally agree about the swimsuit model. She's unbearable and the showmance between her and Gleb is being way overplayed. There are several good dancers among this season's celebrities so this season might be a fun one to watch. |

Anna was so disrespectful in her answer. So very glad she is gone.
Jenn Tran was underrated by the judges. If she hadn't been first, she would have been given higher scores. Others did much worse later and got the same scores as Jenn. Carrie Ann's scoring is too high. Derek's scoring is right on the money most of the time (except with Jenn). Bruno is 50/50. I am so OVER Carrie Ann's shitck of speaking soooo softly and getting teary as she talks about the dancer reaching into her soul and touching her heart....blah, blah, blah. Love the show. Ilona is HILARIOUS! Steven is adorable. Hate that the show put Daniella with Dwight Howard....it really is like watching a giraffe dance with a giselle. |

I don't watch, but have become a total Ilona fangirl (she's the only reason I clicked on the thread). Love her and hope the newfound attention doesn't make her obnoxious. |

Ilona - she has never seen herself as delicate or graceful and is struggling and perservering to become these two things, all while learning to dance, all in public. I give her a lot of credit. She's ... not good, but improving every week.
Stephen - all strength, no grace. Luckily, he's good at taking direction, and I look forward to his dance evolution. Kissing his biceps is gross and they need to stop with the superman/glasses crap. Anna Delvey - I know she was eliminated. However. There was a point where her dance partner guy tried to look into her eyes, and she wouldn't meet his eyes. As if she was uncomfortable with someone truly seeing her. Because nothing about her, about who she presents to the world, is true. She can't dance. She shouldn't be in this country - she should be eliminated from here, as well as the show. Tori Spelling - I know she was eliminated too. Her face is just awful! Why was her mouth open the whole time? Does she have a cold, or is that how her mouth always is? It made her look so stupid. Tori danced as if she's used to her mere presence being enough, and was surprised to find she had to dance. Which she can't do. Carl Winslow - I was surprised to find he's never been married or had kids. Wonder what that's all about. Dude is uncomfortable on his feet - he doesn't dance. Professional dancers - teach your "stars" to dance without you counting out loud for them as a crutch. They need to not need you to do that! |
