Where to buy pants for thin 7.5yo

Anonymous
DD seems to have outgrown size 6-7 but 8 is way too big. She is thin, probably same waist as when she was 6 but has grown. She hates when her pants are too short.

Any suggestions?

My problem is her waist is too small.

I have the same issue with my son. My older daughter has been able to wear leggings, which are naturally a bit more snug and we can buy ones that are just about long enough and still snug enough.

We also buy jeans with the adjustable waist bands. Old Navy girls jeans have these. I still don't buy them if they are huge on the waist, but if they are just a little big, we cinch them in a bit.

Try vertbaudet - French clothing company, but more like H&M, not like jacadi.

I mean adjustable waists are everywhere both at Gap online Amazon or most retailers. Why can't you just look for that? Granted more on pants than skirts but you should have zero probs finding for thin kids. DS is 15 and I still have no probs even though he's terribly thin.

I have a boy with this issue and the Boden slim pants are great.

Pants for Peanuts! It is a mom-owned one-person business, so don’t expect super fast service and sometimes she’s out of stock, but my tall skinny kid has lived in the joggers (winter weight and summer weight) for a few year now. Great quality and comfort. You can pick your waist size and length!

Do the slim sizes not work?

Abercrombie kids has long length in many of their pant styles. They’re pretty much all my skinny, tall 8 year old DD wears.

This is not OP but we get slim sizes from places like Target or Gap. Even with Gap slim we usually still have to pull the elastic cinching in all the way on both sides.

Slim pants, pants with the elastic pulls, and for elastic waists, just take a needle and thread and take in the waist a bit.

These are what my DS wears - for the long you need to typically need to order on-line
