Elementary kid took MAP-M last week but didn’t see score. How long until we get the score reports?
|
Next year
Nice try. No. MAP report should be in your ParentVue in 2 weeks. You could also ask teacher for score if you want/need it earlier. The mailing of state mandated MCAP scores/report has been delayed in past years. |
Much longer than two weeks
I think it's usually a couple of months, but you can email the teacher to ask for a copy of the parent report now.
It's released in parentvue with the first report card, but sometimes we've gotten a printed copy earlier.
My kid came home and told us their score. I have the impression that it is scored in real time. Maybe ask your kid?
For MAP M, it is scored on the screen. My kid tells me his score. For MAP R, I don't know because my kid has not taken the test yet.
Talk about it in November at Parent Teacher Conference.
The testing window doesn't end until October 6th. Scores usually post in parentvue about two weeks after the window closes. Or just email your kid's teacher and ask.
My kid told me their scores when they got home. Scoring is real time.
OP here — I asked my kid and she said something about there being multiple numbers on the screen and getting confused. I’ll email the teacher I guess but also don’t want to be “that” mom. I’m mostly just curious given that my kid scored at the 99th percentile at each of the cycles last year but I know this test is supposed to be different and a level higher….
I feel like it's usually mid to late October? For us, anyway.
Set a calendar reminder for oct 20, and go get a life in the meantime.
If you’re emailing the teacher then yes you want to be “that mom”. It’s not that serious, what for the scores to come out in late fall. |
