Some say yes
Others will say it's her genes etc.. |
No. You can only be too skinny or anorexic. |
It should to be obvious to everyone that obesity in unhealthy in all individuals. It doesn't matter what genetic predisposition you've inherited from your parents... being obese risks shortening your lifespan dramatically, as well as lower your quality of life eventually through weight-related joint pain, limited mobility and the practical consequences of cardiovascular illness.
The body positivity movement is alright for slightly overweight individuals who are also active, eat healthy and have no markers of disease. But very overweight is never good. And Lizzo is very overweight. |
She's on ozempic and has lost weight recently so this is a weird post |
What's the definition of "too"?

This is something that is only Lizzo's job to think about. The rest of us do not need to worry about Lizzo's body size. At all. Ever. |
LOL, Lizzo is morbidly obese by any standard. Using her as a "body positivity" example is just going to cause more people to die early. Lizzo is a fatso and should lose a lot of weight. |
I didn't know she has diabetes. But I guess I'm not surprised. |
Who said anything about diabetes. it's also used as anti-obesity medication to help with weight management. That's before Hollywood took over as well. |
Yes of course. She's 5'10" - she shouldn't weigh over 200 lbs. It's great to be confident in your body, but it's even better to be healthy and stay alive. |
Agreed! |
Clearly you are not impacted so see yourself out of this conversation. |
Yes, she was obese.
But she is on drugs and losing weight which is good for her health. |
Of course. |
