New team to enter MLS Next

Beadling SC is new this season and it look like they could be worse than Achilles and West Virginia.

At least they play MLSNext.

I think they were already in MLS Next, just a different division.

Could be worse. ECNL troll with middling.

Yikes...they are really digging 'deep' aren't they to fill up the Next divisions? At best they were an EDP team when my player played against them in Bethesda tournament. Are they MLS Next 2 like SYC has?

No, they have their separate NAL teams

I thought most MLS Next teams ( less the academy teams) have their second team in NAL.

Wait you are stating this after one game? Troll

MLS Next watering down the talent pool. Just like ECNL, CCL, and every other "top" league before it. The cycle continues.

Anyone debating MLS-Next vs ECNL vs E64 vs GA vs NAL has their head in the sand.

Check the Copa Rayados East Coast 2024 results there is no MLS-Next or ECNL or EDP pattern of success. What does show is that clubs with large player pools tend to do better than ones that are smaller regardless of league BUUUUUT even then there are exceptions i.e. Burke Athletic U19B.

Until USSF fixes their house no can claim top youth league status.

It also shows these were preseason games.
My sons teams never had their real lineups on the pitch that they are now using in the real season.

Are you saying it's also just a coincidence that the US National Youth teams and big university programs prioritize players from one league over the rest for boys?

How many men's professional teams playing in the US top league have ECNL youth teams?
