| Our school lets freshmen take a large different type of AP's, including AP World, AP Econ, AP Calculus, AP psychology. Did your freshman child give any AP's freshmen year and able to get admission to T20 or even T50? |
| This question needs to be directed at only people whose kids attended schools that also allowed a lot of APs freshman year. |

No APs in 9th grade and one in 10th. Got in at several 25-50 schools.
I think this site skews toward anxiety. We had a far easier time with college admissions than I anticipated. I read this site regularly and was afraid he would have few good options and no merit. Instead, he got great offers from 7 of his 8 colleges. |

Same here. DC took no APs until junior year. Four junior year, five senior year. Accepted into 11/13 universities - five of which were T20, many of which offered substantial merit. |
