What does your nursing toddler call your boobs?

Anonymous
DC is 13 months and currently loves to point at my nipples while asking "daaaaaaa?" (i.e. what is that?)

How does your DC refer to your boobs?

We wound up calling it milkies. I did not want to get in the situation where my kid was asking for boob, and somehow asking if she wanted milk evolved into milkies as the name for my boob.

"mama milks" - I am actually not really sure how that started...but the mama milk comes out of the mama milks...of course...

"Mother, could you please lift your bra so I can latch onto your areola/nipple and suckle from your breast for comfort?"

Yum jugs.

I'm not trying to be rude or ignorant but if I was around a child who pointed at their mother's breasts and said "milkies" I think I would crawl out of my skin.

I imagine this is extended nursing BEYOND the toddler phase.

My DD called it "some." I want "some." She nursed until age 2.

This just made me snort the vomit in my mouth out my nose!

Come on, the OP's kid is 13 months. That's not exactly an adolescent. (Although I have the feeling a few of the PPs are.)

We called them milkies too. Just ignore the other ignorant comments and continue to BF as long as you and your child are fine with it.

Grow up people! Why even bother to respond to my post if you haven't nursed your toddler? Thanks for the responses from the like-minded mommies out there. Isn't it a wonderful thing?

My nephew used to ask his mom "for a bite." He was 2.5. I think for the most part, he wasn't bf'ing any more, but I didn't really ask.

I always say *Want nurse?* but thanks to DH the 2 y/o cries for *Tittay*.
