Co-ed uniform schools- Do you let your HS daughter wear her skirt so that her under garments are visible?

Today at drop off I watched as several girls walked into school and I could literally see their undergarments or butt because the skirts are so short. Do the parents not notice/care? Why doesn't the school give detention like they do for other uniform infractions? It is not attractive.

No, I have a two-roll rule: They can roll the waistband twice before I comment on it and tell them to fix it. Thankfully they think the girls walking around with their bike shorts showing look ridiculous also, but I'm not kidding myself that my silly rule would have any impact on how short their skirt gets at school if they decided they wanted to wear it that way when I'm not around.

My rule:
if DD gets uniform checked and fails, it is on DD. I will not go out of my way to pick up / drop off for the detention. School policy is uniforms are fingertip length and when they were shortened, they were a tad longer.

FYI - my DD and her friends all wear volleyball shorts under their uniform skirts

I am not going to comment on whether the uniforms are in appropriate, but this comment is.

I guarantee that the kids had to roll their skirts down as soon as they entered the school.
Girls have been rolling their skirts up since the beginning of time, by the way. You, your mom and your grandmother probably did it too.

DD has to wear shorts under her uniform skirt, so it helps. It does drive me nuts when I can see bright pick Lulus underneath someone's skirt, but thankfully DD agrees and just wears the darker shorts.

She also knows that if she rolls it too much and gets a uniform violation, it is all on her to serve her time.

Every time I drop DS off, I spy butt cheeks hanging out of uniform skirts. I’m not a perv, just a semi-observant mom. When I was in HS, we’d get in trouble if our skirts were above our knees. I actually got a detention once for having so many infractions on this- mine was a couple of inches above my knees.
