Healthiest Costco snack

What is the healthiest packaged snack (suitable for tossing into a backpack) they currently sell at Costco? And if your answer has nuts, please give a backup non-nut answer.

What are your parameters? The healthiest snack is going to be an apple. The little humus cups are also good. But do you mean non perishable snack? Those all have their ups and downs….but some might be:
Dried fruit (high fiber but high sugar)
Jerky (high protein but high fat and often nitrates)
Cereal bars — some have decent fiber but most are pretty sugary
Seaweed snacks — very green but high sodium
Pop corn bags — high fiber but salty
Sun chips — more fiber than usual chips but highly processed.

I spent a lot of time going up and down the aisles trying to solve this puzzle for myself last year, when we had to send snacks to preschool.

Number one with a bullet for kids liking it and me not hating myself for sending it was dried mango slices. These things are so good we can't keep them in the house or DH and I keep snacking like maniacs. But still - some vitamins, lots of fiber, and it's a real food.
They have lots of different protein bars, and the Kirkland ones with only 10 grams that are like chewy granola bars were a winner with my kid.

I haven't dipped my toes into the various jerkies but I think that could be a good option for an older kid (middle school up?). I'm not sure my 5 year old would really eat it.

Seaweed snacks are good for something to nosh on around the house, but not really a good school snack in my opinion because they're like 25 calories total - kids need energy.

Everything else was basically simple carbs (goldfish, pirates booty, animal crackers, etc) and we don't do chips on a daily basis.

For packaged the skinny pop is pretty good. It’s just popcorn with olive oil and salt. Lots of fiber.

We also get the That”S it mini fruit bars or the alllesauce packs. It’s real food but bigh sugar.

I love the Kirkland trail mix but it’s full of nuts. We used to have it at my office for snacks but I think people are too much so they cut it.

Applesauce is good! I forgot about those. I try to pack something homemade and relatively wholesome for snack, but I also like to have something easy on hand in case I don’t. I appreciate these ideas! Pray continue.

Fresh mangos or dried (tho slightly too sweet)

Store has a variety of snacks but the amount of snack-size-non-recycleable packaging deters us from buying.

The organic dried mangos have no added sugar. Non organic does.

Beef sticks- several choices, but my kids like the plain Archer Provisions brand

Coconut rolls (technically falls in the nut category)

Seaweed snack packs

Applesauce pouches- no added sugar

Babybel cheese

Zero sugar yogurts
