Has anyone heard more about team rosters or practices times and days? Other then the generic email that they would be some combination of MWF evenings?
Frustrating that it’s so late in August and we know nothing. |
| Rec rosters and schedules are done so hopefully ADP is next! |
| Why would rec be done before ADP? It’s over $1,000! Not impressed so far. |
| Because rec starts a week earlier. |
| When we registered, they told us ADP would start late August. Now we’re Sept 9th. And still don’t know when or where we’re practicing. |
You're expecting too much. Save yourself some stress and get a refund. |
| We generally found out our ADP practice days the DAY before they started. I always found it incredibly annoying. |
That’s ridiculous! Thanks for the heads up. |
Did you at least get team assignments and game schedules before then? 🤞🏻 |
| Just received the ADP email noting that they are working on the schedule. But I must admit the email wording was confusing (at least to me). |
| Yes the language is very confusing. I don’t remember it being like this last year. |
| I think that’s just smoke and mirrors, trying to connect the (unreasonably long) delay to the program enhancements they are making. Super annoying - those program enhancements were the reason provided for the increased cost and now being used as an excuse for a late start. |
Totally agree. They should be embarassed. And the “enhancements” seems like BS. The language around professional vs. parent coaches and who would be where and when was completed word salad. |
| ADP is a total ripoff. Pro coaches don’t provide any real coaching at the individual level. Parent coaches aren’t any better than the ones at the rec level generally. Fields are assigned last and often rained out while rec kids were still playing on turf. Never again. |
| I have found ADP in the past to be a nice step up over rec, where even with a well meaning volunteer coach, the kids often learn little about soccer. ADP does provide more structure and curriculum. Whether that’s worth the extra money is another question. But regardless, this scheduling thing is very frustrating. |
