I ordered a couple tops from Lululemon. They sent an item that was not in my order. I had this exact item (same size, same color!) in my cart and thought I removed it - and I did, as it is not on my order invoice.
The right thing to do is call them, right? Or return it to a store? It is not in fact a gift from the universe, having had the exact same item in my cart? |
| It's a gift. You'll waste too much time trying to find the customer service bot who understands the issue. |
| You already know what you're most comfortable doing. Are you looking for someone to back you up? |
| I would consider calling, but it'd be hard to return it to a store, they might not be able to just take it back without issuing a refund. |
| Do what's right. |
|
Yes. It is the ethical thing to do.
They will generate a UPS call tag and pick it up from your home or workplace if they want it back. Many times they will tell you to keep it. Do the right thing. |
Well, Lululemon must be having problems, because they included an extra pair of pants in my order (a light green pair). After trying them on and hating them, I returned them to the store in Clarendon. The employee had no trouble taking it back. |
| I received extra items that were meant for customer in Canada. Company told me to keep it as extra postage would be $$$ and they had already filed it as missing. |
| The warehouse is definitely having problems. I ordered a bag. Received someone else's shorts. |

My rule is I spend no more tha n10 minutes on it. Had a package (not Amzon, some clothing retailer) ship a package to us of stuff totally not for us. Address was ours, name was not any name I recognized. We've lived here 10 years.
The company could not fathom this kind of scenario. Mutliple emails and chats,a nd I gave up and donated the items to charity. |
| No. I usually donate. |
| I try but it often turns into a hassle. That old saying applies... " no good deed goes unpunished ". |
| The few times it’s happened to me I always call the company. Only once did they ask me to send it back and they made it very easy. If I have no use for it I give it to charity. Being honest doesn’t take much effort. |

F it
keep it |
| This has happened to me a few times with different brands and the first two times, I called and they told me just keep the item as a courtesy, so then I stopped calling. |
