Personal trainer

Has anyone found a trainer that is knowledge about working with women who are perimenopausal and postpartum. Creeping into perimenopause and still dealing with weak core/pelvic floor issues from having babies. I feel like the trainers I've found so far claim they can help but don't actually seem very knowledgeable. Not to mention, I'm not aiming to get ripped or accomplish any major fitness feat, just want to "train" my body for this next phase with goal of staying active. Does this exist?

This wasn't specific to menopause, but I had great success with the HABit program.

Same! She's a physical therapist.

Pilates has been amazing for my pelvic floor and urinary incontinence. I just do Kristin McGee’s classes on Peloton.

I agree with this. I think Pilates reformer is even better for pelvic floor.

Have you tried PT? I haven’t been yet, but this place is on my list to call for appointments:

Seems like it might be good to strengthen pelvic floor intentionally and then move on to a trainer for strength training.
