Would you say something to someone if they had one daughter named Isabelle and were planning to name the second one Elizabeth?

What if they had a son named Eric and and planned on naming their new daughter Erica?

No.

No, MYOB. My cousin named her child Hannah Grace and I said not a word. Maybe it's intentional.

Only if it was my husband planning to do this. If not, it would be none of my business no matter what I thought.

I had a friend in school named Hannah. Took forever for her parents to figure out she was dyslexic, she was spelling her name backwards.

Why? We know people whose children are Victor and Victoria. Anyone else old enough to remember the movie?

Yes, I looove that movie! "Le Jazz Hot..." James Garner was very good looking back then. BTW... I'm only 40, but I saw that movie in the theatre! I don't know what my mom was thinking.

I love this movie too, although I don't know why. Alex Karras, James Garner, Julie Andrews, Robert Preston coming out? Wait, now I've got it-Leslie Ann Warren portraying the perfect gangster tart. I've got two sisters that I love very much. One has a son named Alexander, one has a daughter named Alexandria. We laugh about it. We all love each other. MYOB!!!!!

What about people who name their children all with the same beginning letter? So not cute.

Of course I wouldn't. Names are very personal. Heck, I knew a family with a Rose, a Lily, and a Violet. The parents called them their beautiful garden.

What about George Foreman naming 5 of his sons George (George, Jr., George III, etc all in the same generation!)? Then you could also refer to them by nicknames.

My favorites are the name and the nickname together -- people don't know one derives from the other

Molly Marie Kukowski

Nancy Anne Rider

Sally Sarah McGee

Lisa Elizabeth Jones
