Rachael Gunn, somehow Australia put her on the Olympic team and she sucked, made a fool of everyone, scored zero points on all three dance offs, and demonstrated a very low level of skill, talent and creativity.
How did this happen? Why did it happen? |
| Don't care |
Completely emblematic of the lowered standards we have in society today. |
|
She set this all up for herself.
She's the worst. |
|
Joke of a contest to pick who they sent.
Husband was a judge there. She’s an overconfident academic who got shown the door. |
|
They won’t have breakdancing in 2028.
|
| Already took more time/attention than she deserves. I'll be happy when we've all forgotten her name. |
| I’ve enjoyed the memes and she earned them. Maybe she can team up with hawk tuah girl. |
| Can you twirl around on your head? |
| She's a ig account with more videos from years ago. She has zero rhythm but she has been "dancing" for a long time |
|
Maybe she really was the best breakdancer Australia could offer?
Did you see those slick kangaroo hops? |
| She perfectly mocked an event that desperately needed mocking to expose its ridiculousness. If only someone had the guts to do the same to synchronized diving, synchronized swimming, and all those bicycle events that don’t involve getting from point A to point B in the shortest amount of time. |
| I think she's a shameful person. There are better break dancers anywhere, making no money and getting no attention for being actually amazing at what they do. She stole a spot from a deserving athlete. It's entitled and clueless, which is not excusable given she is a professor. |
|
She has a PhD in breakdancing, right?
Because she couldn't get into any other PhD programs? |
I think it was an elaborate piece of performance art to satirize something that never should have been a part of the Olympics in the first place. |
