Bonus if you can include the prompts.
Some of my favorites include "Create a meal plan using...." "Build a travel itinerary for X weeks in Y country for people ages..." |
I don’t. I don’t understand the hype. |
I've never used ChatGPT. |
Travel itinerary suggestions.
I have friends that use it to do first drafts of text to go with posts. |
You're not using it correctly then. |

No, I think I was just getting by fine without it. These so-called advances in technology are making life much, much worse in my opinion. |
You wash your clothes by hand too? |
Some of them, sure. I still like to walk or bike some places. And write lists down on paper. And get together with people in person. Machines and technology have a place, but I don’t need them to replace every single bit of effort and thinking for me. |
I use it for everything. I’ve completely replaced Google with it. 90% of my work is done with it. I had it plan out my garden (tell me where to plant things and make a schedule to care for them).
I wanted to photoshop an image, and instead of needing to hire someone to do it for me or take a 6 hour course on photoshop, I asked chatGPT to give me step-by-step instructions as if I were an idiot. Had the image completely photoshopped within 30 minutes. When I wanted to lose a few pounds of water weight before an event, I had it write out a plan for me (probably not the safest thing, but it worked). I knew a guy who used it for therapy and he said it worked better than an actual therapist. |
Listen to the last episode of This American Life. Fascinating and helpful in understanding how to use it. |
Better yet -- ask ChatGPT to summarize the episode for you. lol. |
Why do you keep asking this prompt?
Clarify your agenda (s). Garbage in, garbage out. |
I’ve used it to start lesson plans for my classes: note, I do a lot of heavy editing, but it’s a good start. |
Unless it's complex I don't find it even necessary to go to ChatGPT. AI is just not there yet. So far from what we expect AI to be. To those pp who use it on stuff like planning your garden out - you can do this. It may take you like 30 min but I'm pretty sure without GPT you'd have found a way. If you can't write a note of congratulations or consolation as a literate adult you are an idiot. Using GPT proves you're lazy is all. I mean 98% of what you are using GPT for you don't need to use. It's so sad people are this lazy. As we get "smarter" I swear we are getting dumber. The fact people won't use their minds on easy things means we are all getting dumber. |
