Vegetarian snacking

Do you find that you are more "snacky"? I am eating plant-based and feel excellent in terms of BMs and general energy, but I am so tempted to snack and more hungry.

Not really if I've had a satisfying meal. I snack on popcorn.

Cottage cheese, high protein yogurt, hummus with vegetables

If my meals are pretty balanced (carbs, fat, protein, fiber) then I'm not prone to being hungry between meals. If I happen to have a meal that's a lot of carbs and less of the other things, though, I will be hungry sooner.

+1 I've been veg my whole life, so I don't know what I'd feel like if I ate meat. But I do find I get a lot more snacky if my meals are too small and don't have enough variety in them (like PP said, carbs, fat, protein, fiber). Whenever I start trying to restrict meals, in some attempt to lose a few pounds - or if I just am not eating big enough meals for whatever reason (traveling and no time to eat, or whatever) - I become RAVENOUS between meals.

Also hormonal fluctuations.

Sometimes. just get in the habit of snacking a lot, and then I get hungry on that schedule.

Maybe you are not eating enough? I think I was less hungry after changing to a plant based diet. The sheer volume of food I am eating fills me up. I eat three meals and a late afternoon snack.
