Players open series lacrosse -girls question

Also, I can’t find the price for it. Anyone able to navigate better than I?

My DD did Juniors Open (same guys run that, but summer) and had a good experience. Heard they've improved it since then as well (since that was the first year). That said, I believe Juniors is now over 1k so guessing Open Series you'll see a similar $$$.

My daughter just got email (assume everyone gets invited to this) and its Fri Nov 15th 6-9pm $395.

We have tournaments that weekend so the timing is not great.

The reason to do Players Open is to get a Juniors Open invite. Last year abotu 1/3 of girls got invites based on this event.

Great talent there and able to interact/coach by some schools on her list. I also think this helped my daughter get IDX invite and Best in Class invite. Besides going to the schools' prospect days, this is the list of events to attend if you're invited or have the ability to go:
- Best In Class
- Under Armour- you will get great tape for highlights. If you stand out great press on inside lacrosse too.
- All America - choose this over American Select because they have the senior committed games when AS has NOTHING
- Line Up - This event is new, but was amazing and worth attending. You get one on one interaction with high-level D1 coaches that you select. This event triggered major interest from top D1 schools for my DD.
- HHH Committed Games!!! DD got to spend two whole days with the coaches & their 24/25 committs as one of 2026 selected.
-TPS The Player Series- lots of time with coaches.
-Junior Open-
-IL ID Experience-
Go to your college winter/fall camps to get on the radar as a 2027/28.

Also, the AA rosters this year were very subpar compared to the AS rosters. Very glaring difference. Specifically from non hotbed areas.

If american select rosters were superior, how did the 2028 DC and MD AS teams win 1 game in pool play between them? The all america baltimore and dc teams went 7-1 in pool play.

Go to the fall, winter prospect camps of schools you like if hoping for D1. Fill out the recruiting questionnaire on each schools website so you get the camp info emails.

If american select rosters were superior, how did the 2028 DC and MD AS teams win 1 game in pool play between them? The all america baltimore and dc teams went 7-1 in pool play.

Because nobody outsude the MD DC area did AA, they all went to AS and those teams were loaded, and in many cases 85% of a single club team, like YJ or FS

My daughter plans to do All American instead of attending American Select. At least at All America you get one team from a region instead of like 4 New York teams in the same age group at American Select.
They weren't so much as loaded as they were stacked. The drive, the fields, the refs and games-- not impressed. Anyway, both events are not necessary to get recruited, and one is more of a money grab than the other. No hotel for All American is a cost savings! My son will try out too on the boys side. Definitely will check out the LineUP and TPS.

This is over $10K worth of extra things, not that people can do them all but it is very overwelming. There's also some that are in person try outs vs nomination only.

Why does AS have 3 and 4 teams for some regions? If they claim to have the top talent, there should be 1 team per region. Corn fields, middle of nowhere turf and watered down teams is what AS is.
