We have not gone away alone since our third child was born 7 years ago. Looking to go away for 4-6 days. No budget.
Where would you go? |
| Anguilla, it’s bliss |
| Jade Mountain in St Lucia. |
| Sandy Lane in Barbados |
| I’d pick something that kids don’t enjoy. Like Napa/Sonoma, Vermont in the fall, a European city with lots of good food options, etc. |
|
I live in Vermont. I love Vermont.
But with no budget I'd choose something like Anguilla. |
| snowmobiling thru Yellowstone. |
|
We've done San Juan, Puerto Rico. Beautiful and great restaurants.
Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Also beautiful. Also great restaurants. Napa sounds like a great idea though. But only with a direct flight and if you don't get really thrown off by a time change. Europe is too hard to do in 4-5 days with the time change. I mean, it can be done, but it's less of a get away and more of an adventure. |

Depends on time of year and your interests, but consider:
Nemacolin Nashville Cayman Charleston |
You don't need 4 days there, let alone 6. |
| Italy |
| It depends on your interests! |
| With only 4-6 days, I’d pick a direct flight to a luxury island resort. Jade Mountain was a good suggestion although I don’t think there are nonstops to St Lucia. Check out Ambergris Cay in Turks & Caicos. |
| I want to go to Sedona, up the Saint Laurent in Quebec, and up the Oregon/Washington coast with dh. Not at all into tropical. |
