So far I’ve watched men’s volleyball (Canada v Greece) and women’s beach volleyball (Germany vs France). Today will watch men’s volleyball (USA v Serbia) and women’s beach volleyball (USA v Czech). Will also watch gymnastics, women’s volleyball and track and field next week.

If they don't have baseball in Olympics, why not remove basketball too? Opens up space for another sport. NBA Basketball can play against national teams in games throughout the year.

same with tennis. for tennis players, grand slam tournaments are a big deal. since they already have a major one each year in Australia, France, England and U.S., why not remove the sport from Olympics?

that should go for soccer too, tho Olympics soccer is typically under-24 athletes event. This allows athletes and teams who don't qualify for Cup games (World, Euro) to participate.

And tennis and golf and football and any sport where an Olympic gold medal isn't the top trophy.
