Largely it’s true. The strongest kids are taking AP classes in their high school.

I can’t imagine a high school level orgo class equals a college level course. In my eperience it is typically a 200 level course and is often the course used to weed out pre-med. it kicked my butt in college.

My kid took it as a magnet elective a couple of years ago. I believe those are open to others if prereqs are met.
