Every day at work is so humiliating

I've been waiting to quit until I found something equivalent or close or better but it's been so long and I just cannot. It's crushing my soul.
i think i need to move to a much lower col area and just quit. right? It's so bad.

? Why is work humiliating? You're being paid, right? If you can't do the job, you'd be terminated, so what is there to be humiliated about? If you feel unappreciated for some reason, find another job. "I just cannot" is whiney and self-defeating. Get off your you-know-what, prepare a resume, and start applying. It's not difficult or complicated.

I apply constantly.
you must be able to imagine a world in which someone is humiliated at work. It's not a new concept.

Are you wearing a costume and waving down cars? What’s so humiliating about it?

I'm sorry OP. Can you give more detail on what is 'humiliating'?

I'm going to guess that her boss is a micromanager and reprimand her in front of others

No op, but I understand workplace humiliation. In my case I m pretty senior and 2 most ago on a rapid upward trajectory. Some things happened (internal politics), and now I'm sidelined with dead end work. It's ego, but it's hard

I remind myself I have a paycheck and just keep looking.

op - this is pretty much my story.
I'm increasingly constantly sidelined and each meeting (of which there are many) brings reminders of the fact that I'm I guess.. unnecessary?

Just strike back, dude. Don’t just stand there being humiliated. Give them a dose of their own medicine. That’s how I turned my workplace into the toxic atmosphere it is now. Now nobody messes with me

op - do you have this thing too where you constantly think 'oh it must be me' and then you try extra really hard for a while and salvage your inspiration to 'do better' and then things happen where you realize that nothing you do will change anything (or nothing you as a human have the capability to do will change anything) and then it's even so much more discouraging all over again and then repeat

OP, if you’ve been sidelined due to politics, you need to move on. Find another job.

Can you lateral to another job within the same company so you can have a different supervisor?
