She started out being a dancing instructor - a low-paid one - in the Bronx. I think she has worked hard to get where she is. She isn't a Gwyneth Paltrow whose mother and grandmother were both Hollywood stars, grew up in a multi-million dollar household, and had everything paid for her until she hit it 'big' in her late 20s.
