I agree. President Miller makes the decisions. |
Yep, 100% And yet the GOP/Trumpsters on this forum will continue to blame Schumer
|
| Graham’s DACA bill has the support of 56+ Senators. His comprehensive reform bill passed in 2013 with 68 votes. The Cotton-Purdue bill to slash legal immigration in half that Miller is pushing has the support of precisely 2 senators, themselves. |
Then complain to Sen. McConnell who has twice rejected bringing legislation to the floor within the past 48 hours to exempt the military completely from the shut down. |
Once the pipeline is cut off he will hire Americans, he just shouldn’t be expected to go it alone. |
he should be expected to lead by example. Until then, you and he are hypocrites. What exactly is preventing him from hiring American workers? |
Also, are you really this dumb? Because it seems that you would be consistently being taken advantage of IRL |
| I’ve come to the conclusion that it was a brilliant move by the Republicans to put CHIP in the chopping block. I don’t think they were ever really going to defund it, but now the dems has to fight for it. It turned into some liberal pet entitlement program as opposed to the bipartisan support it typically received. And now the Dems had a choice-fight for CHIP OR DACA, or go for both and risk looking greedy. Seriously, whoever came up with this idea should get a pay raise. |
He has known since 2013 he was running for President. He could have hired "real Americans" any time in that period, including last year after he was elected but before he took office and continued to file the foreign worker waiver forms for Mar-A-Lago and his vineyard in Virginia. Same with Ivanka, who continue to produce her clothing lines abroad in horrid conditions for her workers. When is she repatriating those jobs? |
You’re talking to a brick wall. His supporters don’t care about his actual actions, they just enjoy getting fired up by his angry bitter rhetoric. |
This! Conservatives just want to be angry. They just want an outlet for their foam-at-the-mouth bigotry. |
I agree. Spite is America's #1 infectious disease. |
someone said it best: R/Trump = oppositional defiant disorder (ODD = frequent and persistent pattern of anger, irritability, arguing, defiance or vindictiveness |
| Not resolved tonight. Shut down tomorrow. Next vote is now noon tomorrow. |
Tomorrow's vote is for a 3 week CR and a "promise" to vote on DACA. This time we'll believe this promise. For sure. |
