The player in question has never missed a game with the team that she plays with to play on the 2011 team. She played as a trapped player in the spring. You all being pressed on a teenage girl like this is really weird. Like really really weird.

It’s not normal for parents to be “putting their foot down” or dictating what their player is going to do. I don’t think any of you do it either. I think you all fantasize and wish your daughters were talented enough that you could do it, but you can’t because they’re not.

Also the ECNL app says “0-0 (5-5)” for today’s VDA/RU score.

rosters filled with “coach my dd will play with your team only if her buddy can come and/or we also take these players so they we can carpool together because of the commute”. All rosters have some of these commitments. The best rosters have half commitments where the club caves signs the friend only for the other player to change their mind and go commit somewhere where. Top tier rosters. I’ve seen em in action.

Lol that is absolutely untrue. Top tier teams aint got time for that. Roster spots are already tough to come by.

How are so many kids out for injuries already? HS season is in the spring and hasn’t even started yet. May be clubs need to invest more into strengthening and conditioning.

Tell me your kid plays soccer but you no nothing about soccer and have never watched professional soccer…. No one reports a loss in PKs 1-0. But you do you.

Previous poster was correct. In many tournaments they do exactly that. Game ends with 1-0 from pks due to an inability to have a 0-0 game end with a win for proper placement.

ECNL records a tie the way VDA did, just look at Mid Atlantic cup on the app. The tie is shown first with pk’s below. No extra goal allocated for the win. 0-0 doesn’t become 1-0

We both wrote tournaments… Also, on the app it says 0-0 5-4. For soccer folks, they understand what that means. VDA lost in pks, that’s it. Except the L and stop justifying and trying to portray it as a tie. It wasn’t.

Clubs dont care about conditioning and overuse. As long as we have more than 18 players is next girl up. Smaller rosters could force clubs to care, cater and focus on player health. Until then we keep physical therapy in business and deal with tears and tears.

Hope the girls heal up soon and properly. Lotta futbol for them to play in the future. Just gotta get there in one piece.
