| I have very little appetite in the summer, but still have protein and strength-training goals. Please share your high-protein summer meals. |
| Same. One thing I like to eat in summer is a yogurt bowl I make by mixing vanilla Greek yogurt with cottage cheese and adding berries. Lots of protein and it’s not hot and requires no cooking. I also get those microwaveable grain packs that heat up in 90 seconds (bulgur and lentils from Whole Foods is one of my favorites) and add canned tuna and whatever vegetables I have. In a pinch, an egg white omelet with cheese and some black beans also works. |

I just ate 2 slices of sourdough bread and a cup of watermelon for dinner.
I also have little/no appetite. |
Me neither. But I need protein and calories to lift. |
| Anybody have any tasty protein shake recipes? |

Ok, going to sound strange, but I have had grilled chicken for breakfast. That's when I'm hungry. By the time dinner comes around I've been outside and want very little, let alone much protein or something hot.
Also, I have been enjoying feta cheese on tomatoes/cucumbers. Adding a cold protein to a salad is seems easier to eat - tuna, nuts, seeds, etc. Quinoa and chickpeas make a good cool dish as well. |
| You're probably overestimating how much you actually need to consume. That said, cottage cheese is very high in protein. Lentils and eggs are good sources, easy to make in a variety of ways and not heavy. |
