| https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/224-G-St-SW-20024/unit-110/home/9885418 is near me and I hope they get the asking price but cannot imagine it based on comps--one in the same development with an extra bedroom and 2 full baths instead of 1.5 just sold for $670...the kitchen wasn't renovated, but I actually don't like how this more expensive one was done (they put the fridge and wet bar where a large pantry closet used to be next to the stairs). Worse yet, at least two of the pictures have the agent's finger in them! The listing text is poorly written, too. The audacity of some agents to expect over $20,000 for this level of work... |
| Omg, that’s so bad. |
| Yikes! There’s like 3-5 photos that look the same for each room. Agent should be fired. |
| An agent who isn't using a professional photographer isn't worth the commission. |
| I dont see any finger pictures |
| Someone's trying for redfin hits and a hot listing. Nice try. Good luck with that, agent. |
| The finger is a little weird, but to be honest, I like that the pictures actually give you a sense of what the property really looks and feels like size-wise. With most of these photos, it's so hard to tell what you're walking into and with these I get a sense of the real depth. Also, stop being so judgy, you have no idea what arrangement the seller made with their realtor. |
If the realtor is doing this for free, it’s still unforgivable to publish the thumb photos. |
| That's just lazy |

You think an agent made lots of typos in a listing, overpriced it per comps, and included pictures where his finger is in the frame deliberately and then posted about it here? Seems unlikely. And if so, it certainly confirms that the agent doesn't have good judgment! I'm the OP and I live nearby. If they get the list price for it, my place is probably worth more than I think it is, so that's nice, but I'm not planning to sell or refinance anytime soon so it would only affect whether I contest my property tax assessment next year. |

| That’s ridiculously unprofessional. He could hire a high schooler to do a better job. |
Just pointing out some of the features

I saw 3, but couldn't figure out the problem with 13. Then I clicked on it. 13 is a portrait photo that in the album shows as a landscape photo, so the finger is cut off. If you click on the photo, then it shows in portrait mode and you see the finger. But 3 is a portrait photo displaying in portrait mode in the album, so you see it in both views. |
