I HATE THIS WEATHER.

ENOUGH with this effing heat. Can we get a break? Even walking the dog around the block is miserable.

Might as well move north. Only getting to get worse

I know. It's awful. I've switched to very early and very late dog walks, but even then, it was impossible last weekend with my northern breed sled dog. We have to move.

Today has been nice.

Why would you get this kind of dog when you live in DC? It’s not humane.

And yet every state has those breeds, PP. Even in Arizona 110F temps or Florida swampy climate. They live in the A/C, and some of them are fine satying on porches in the shade for part of the day. I don't let my northern breed out in the summer. He lives in the A/C, and we get our exercise at dawn or late at night.

Oh honey. Bless your heart. It's just getting started. The next three months are going to be this way. Adjust. Or vacation in Quebec.

Doesn’t mean it’s a good idea!

Summer here, it's miserable. But it's always miserable. It is not a heat wave.

Is it the heat or the humidity that bothers you ?

NP: Yes.

OP, you must be new here. Yesterday/today were actually pleasant for DC summers. Buckle in, because we have 3 more months of this.

I wish Pepco would stop sending emails. "You used more electricity this week than last week." No kidding! Because the A/C is running at max because it's 98 degrees outside! Thanks for telling me!

It's not that hot out? :shrugs: Saturday was far worse.

In Quebec now and today was HOT. Yesterday wasn’t and tomorrow won’t be, but it was today.
