When I worked at GW when I was in my 20s, one of my jobs was sometimes loading in the audience for “Crossfire.” I got to see and interview all of the hosts, Begala, Novak, Carlson and Carville. They all genuinely seemed to get along and to have the shared goal of having a great show and exploring tough issues.
It’s sad to see what has become of Tucker Carlson. I don’t think he had to turn out this way. I think he has a lot of talent and potential and maybe even some idealism somewhere in his heart, but along the way greed and influence and loaded opportunities got the best of him. |
