Cheap fake videos?

What is that? KJP told a reporter today that videos of Biden are being “cheap faked?”

A cheap fake is altered media that has been changed through conventional and affordable technology. Social media examples of cheap fake techniques include photoshopping (including face swapping), lookalikes, as well as speeding and slowing video.

I have seen videos posted of Biden and I don’t see any that fit the above description.

What videos are these? Can someone post the real Biden video and then the cheap fake that is being manipulated?

“One of the latest examples appears to show Biden wandering off into nowhere while at the G-7 meeting. In reality, paratroopers carrying flags of each of the nations in attendance had just landed and Biden was going over to shake hand with one of them. The paratrooper was edited out of videos circulated by right-wing sources and posted on DCUM. So, instead of showing Biden walking towards a soldier, he appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. Because this thread has basically taken over where the "gaffes" thread left off, I'll probably lock it as well. I have no interest in having DCUM used for right-wing fake news.”

So where is the video of Biden shaking the soldier’s hand?

The unedited, full video of Biden standing impotently and childishly trying to get the attention of a paratrooper who couldn’t possibly have cared less makes him look even worse that the shorter video which didn’t show the paratrooper. Nothing was faked. Liberals just can’t bear the constant shots of Biden behaving the way an elderly, diminished person behaves.

I don’t know why no one will post the real video of Biden shaking the soldier’s hand and the cheap faked one? It would be a great illustration of cheap fake videos. I can’t find one of Biden shaking the soldier’s hand or the one with the soldier edited out. The moderator is very tech savvy and he says they exist but I can’t find them.

It would be helpful to see both videos so we can see what is being manipulated. It’s easy to post videos and the mod says he has a great example of real vs cheap fake so let’s see them.

Here is the video.

Biden was wandering off from the group. Folks who like to say he was trying to go to another paratrooper omit the fact it was so bizarre that a woman grabbed his arm to guide Joe back to the group. They try hard to keep Biden on the path because he's wandered off on myriad occasions.

Here is the video.

The "woman" is the Italian Prime Minister and she was getting the leaders lined up so that the paratroopers could shake hands with them. The camera's framing doesn't show the paratrooper that Biden is approaching until the last minute which also gives a distorted view of things.

I wrote that he was going over to shake hands with the paratrooper. The soldier was busy and Biden was ushered back to the group before he could actually shake hands. Here is how UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak explained it:

“He went to go and talk to the pilot, one of the parachute jumpers,” Sunak said. “He went to go and shake all their hands.”

The British leader then explained that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni ushered Biden back because all of the skydivers were set to come over to greet the leaders.
