My 7YO keeps getting panty liners in the mail.

The first package came in March. It was from Amazon and I assumed it was from a grandparent. His brother was jealous because he didn't also get a package. Then it turned out to be a 100-pack of panty liners. I figured it was a mistake or a brushing scam. Well, another one came today-- the same product, a 100-pack of panty liners.

I did a virtual chat with Amazon CS to try to find out who sent the packages but they wouldn't tell me the name outright. They would tell me the first letters of the sender's first and last names, but not the second letters or any other letters. They said if I guessed names, they would confirm or deny each name.

I guessed everyone I can think of with those initials, and none were correct. They are supposedly looking into the issue and will follow up with me.

What gives? Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm dying of curiosity.

When I was about 9 there was a girl in my class who became obsessed with me. She ordered pizza to be delivered to my house and signed my family up for a diaper service. She also wrote extremely inappropriate things about me on the chalkboard at school and ended up getting expelled. I didn’t think of her for decades and recently was talking with a friend from elementary school and she brought this girl up so we googled her. She appears to be a romance novelist and played in several b or c level porn films.
Maybe your kid has a weird stalker too?

Some older person mis-typed the address?

I don't think so. The package was addressed to him, and not his full first name, but the common/shortened nickname for it.

This is funny. Come back and let us know when the mystery is solved.

When I was 12, after moving across the country, I sent my 6th grade crush a 45 record anonymously.

Kids are weird, lol.

I had a weirdo stalker like this, too. It was one of my friends who was jealous of me. The guy she liked was into me. I was a nerd and not into him.

Does your kid have a unisex name like Kelly?

Panty liners sent to your son seems to be someone’s idea of a joke or a young girl who has a crush on him. I would go up the management chain at Amazon. Could this be perceived as bullying behavior? In any case, your UNDERAGE child should not be receiving unsolicited gifts. If the sender is a young kid, they are probably buying this item off their parent’s prime account. I understand Amazon might mot be able to give you specific names, but they certainly can investigate who is sending these items and alert the account holder.

Hoping an Amazon employee can offer some methods/tips to figure out who is behind all of this. Is there some kind of code on the packaging?

It sounds like auto delivery because of the March and June deliveries. I think somebody out there is mad at Amazon and wondering where their panty liners are.

Of course Amazon won’t tell you the name. This is a very private matter!

Maybe he lied and put in a fake DOB to access a site ?

Check with your neighbors, might be one off address.

I would tell that Amazon can either give you the name, or they can give your lawyer the name. Up to them. Remind them this is an underage minor and that you suspect that this is inappropriate contact from an adult, and if they are found to be protecting the adult in this scenario, they will in fact be dealing with my lawyer.
