Today kicks off the European Championship tournament, being held this time in Germany; the hosts play Scotland today in the opening game.
Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania Group C: England, Denmark, Serbia, Slovenia Group D: France, Netherlands, Austria, Poland Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine Group F: Portugal, Czechia, Turkey, Georgia France seem to be most experts' favorites to win the tournament, but England, Portugal, and Germany also have good odds, to say nothing of Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. |
| These fools on here are too preoccupied arguing about special 10 year olds to realize a major international tournament has begun. Spain 🇪🇸 looking like the team to beat, host team especially when they are Germany 🇩🇪 is relevant, and then France and England haven’t played yet but they should be good and competent. I’d say 1 of those 4 win it |

You are calling people fools and think Spain is now the team to beat? |
Were these players big and physical when they were younger? Did they play ECNL? Everything else is irrelevant IMO. |
| England looked like trash today. |
Explain |
Well, they got the win and are in a good position to win their next game and finish top of the group, so they have space to improve. |
| Slovakia taking it to Belgium, first potential upset in a chalk round 1 so far at the EUROS |
Exactly, got another 🤡 |
| If you ever needed additional proof that this is not a soccer forum 😂 |
DP. Something is off with England. England picked the best players but it does not mean they make a great team. Football is like a piano you need 8 men to carry it and 3 who can play the damn thing; Bill Shankly Too many piano players, weak defense, conservative coach. Should do okay till they draw one of the big teams. |
Totally agree. They should have subbed in Eze and Gordon. Both of them are hard working and dangerous offensive players. Instead they bring Bowen and Gallagher. Neither of them would scare a defense, nor do I think they were meant to so much offensively. Much too conservative a manager for this lot. |
