| Looking for ideas from easy to impressive--thanks! |
| How many dates have you already had? |
| Three. |
| What about doing like fresh pasta? Like ravioli or tagliatelle. It's actually really easy but it's showy. If you haven't done it before, I'd practice a couple times first. |
| When I was doing this, I would make anything I was comfortable with from my repertoire that I thought they would like. No new recipes for first-time cooking for someone. Generally, choose things that friends/family request you make - if they like it enough to ask for it, your date probably will too. |
No red sauce! |
Brown butter and sage, maybe? Or pesto? |
|
Chicken thighs. Always juicy and popular.
Could serve with baked potato (which I tend to stuff with broccoli) or Asian noodles (with garlic sauce) and stir fried vegetables |
Can you imagine kissing someone after eating this? I’d avoid anything with a lot of garlic. Especially raw garlic. |
| Depends on what I think they’ll like! I’m a great cook though and have lots of different recipes that are tried and true. Also depends on what’s in season. |
| Make that Ina Garten chicken that Meghan cooked for Harry. |
|
Grilled steak, medium rare, baked potato, salad, and broccoli.
Key lime pit or cheesecake for dessert |
Avoid broccoli too! |
Nothing cruciferous. Minimal garlic and onions. Unless you're hoping the date ends before dessert. |
| Homemade Lasagna with home baked bread. |
