I am looking for healthy fast choices to get to the table quickly. Any help appreciated.

Roast some chicken thighs in the oven. Green salad. Starch of your choice. We like the NYT chicken shawarma with pita bread, or use the Serious Eats peruvian chicken spice mixture on regular pieces of chicken. Or just salt and olive oil.

Slice a chicken breast thin and into stripe. Season with whatever you like. Throw into a pan and do a quick saute. Throw together a salad and by the time you're done, the chicken will be too.

Seafood or chicken on a pan with various veggies. Season. Throw in oven.

Tacos

There are lots of one pot recipes.

Actually super quick and simple-pasta and jar sauce.

Simple and minimally processed-

Put some rice on to steam.

Season a chicken breast or two and throw them in a pan on medium low heat with some olive oil. Cover and cook 6-8 minutes each side depending how big. Pull out to rest.

Rice should be just about done now.

Microwave a can or two of green beans (the only veggie my family likes out of a can) or some frozen peas or corn.

Usually on the table in less than 30.

Rotisserie chicken, buy warm or cold from fridge: pull apart. Sauce of choice if you like sauce (Nando's bottle, bbq, bottled chimichuri or pesto, etc....).

Green salad (bad of greens, grape tomatoes, dice up a few baby cucumbers, bottled dressing, maybe some additional easy toppings of your choices like olives or cheese).

Couscous - 5 minutes on the stovetop, mostly sitting there.

Boil and cook pasta.

Warm jarred sauce in a sauce pan. Add a few handfuls of spinach a few minutes before it's done.

Top with dollop of ricotta.

Zest/squeeze some lemon and pinch off some basil and add red pepper flakes if you're fancy.

In the summer the grill is your friend! Protein and veggies!

Tacos - ground turkey and a can of black beans, diced onion, taco seasoning - cook and serve with rice and salad

Shrimp and Orzo - throw in some veggies https://laughingspatula.com/20-minute-one-pan-shrimp-and-orzo-dinner/

I always have meatballs in the freezer so those with jarred or frozen sauce and protein pasta
