Of course you make it an issue. And it's strange that this would even be a problem. If you're in a vehicle, you wear a seatbelt. Why wouldn't you?

I know that you do not want to think so, but wearing a seatbelt in the car is indeed different than wearing a bike helmet (in the eyes of the law, and in the eyes of most people).

Not negotiable, of course they must have a seat belt. And if you are an adult in my car and you don’t put on a seat belt, you can get out and walk.
