Attended a party, suddenly threw up violently

Anonymous
Attended a party at someone’s house. Ate two oysters, tons of caviar, including caviar that the restaurant staff had stored away in the back somewhere, one cocktail, couple glasses of champagne and red wine.

I’m a regular drinker, so am guessing it was the oysters or caviar.

Thankfully the throw up didn’t happen until I left, but it was so violent my throat still hurts.

Was it the oysters or caviar?

It was everything. Too much booze and maybe bad seafood.

I am going with bad seafood. Been there with bad scallops.

Oysters for sure.

If you were at a house, how do you know cavier had been "stored in the back somewhere" at a restaurant. Was it catered? That's weird.

+1. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of someone getting food poisoning from caviar.

Were you dehydrated? That could alter your ability to handle the booze. Or oysters were the problem.

Thus is pretty much how I found out I was developing an allergy to Oysters. Had Oysters with my boss and only I got sick. Next time I had oysters I was in the toilet within 30 minutes. Stopped eating them after that

Depends on if other people got sick or not. Could have been the food, cold have been a "you thing."

Was there someone there shucking or they were preshucked?

The cocktail, champagne, red wine combo would do it to me.

Could have been slipped a drug too.

I’m also interested in how you knew the caviar was tucked away in the back and how you got it.

Did others get sick? Did you eat those foods before and were fine?

I was outside on the patio during the entertainment portion of the night (where the oysters and caviar were) and the chef who catered the event went to “the back”, meaning somewhere behind the patio area and brought out other samples of caviar
