YouTube exercise suggestions please

Anonymous
In the past 2-3 weeks I recall reading a thread that recommended a YouTuber that leads good workouts—maybe HIIT workouts? I thought I wrote it down somewhere but I can’t find it. I’m hoping the name will come up here. Please recommend your favorite YouTube workout guru.

Mine is Yoga with Adrienne for yoga. She has so many options.

Bumping because I got no responses yesterday. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Did you try searching for previous posts? I found numerous hits from "YouTube HIIT". Yoga is not a HIIT workout.

Someone had recommended Caroline Girvan's Iron series for strength training. I wrote it down but haven't tried it yet.

Just tried this. It kicked my butt but I suppose in a good way. I am not a regular exerciser outside of walking so this was very tough for me.

I tried a bunch and the only one I liked was Emkfif. She uses pop songs (with themes like 80sx 90s dance music. Disney songs, Taylor swift, girl power ballads, etc….) and tries to do just fun, active stuff without taking it too seriously. It was the only one that didn’t make me absolutely miserable to do. I found her by searching for “something like sweating to the oldies but the oldies are 80s music” I think.

If anyone has other suggestions for ones that are fun with good music, I’d take it.

That sounds fun!

During covid I got really into YouTube HIIT workouts.

Intense: Growing Annanas (lots of music, absolutely no speaking)

More relaxed, with adaptations: The Body Project (I think designed for obese people who are trying to get more active, but I found the higher-level options perfectly fine for days I didn't want to get walloped by Anna.)

+1 to Growing Annanas, but I use her for the strength training workouts and haven't tried HIIT

I tried Caroline Girvan after the other thread.

Her beginner me weight leg routine was killer, and I’m in ok shape. Give it a try!

There are tons of good ones! These are in my rotation:

My current fave is Courtney Anderson - she has instructional (speaking classes) and non-speaking ones.

A bunch of non-speaking classes:
Caroline Girvan
Fitness_kaykay
Juice & Toya
Tiff X Dan
Growing Ananas
Heather Robertson

Op here—thank you! It was Caroline Girvan that I remembered from the other post, but I will give the others a try as well!

I absolutely love Mr. and Mrs. Muscle. They do 20 minute workouts that are fun and quick. Non speaking.
